Today’s Improvements

Taylor’s need for sedation to keep her comfortable has decreased.  Although she remains on the respirator, the machine settings have been turned down so that Taylor can partially initiate her own breaths. This is the first step in getting her off of the respirator. She has been taken off all medications to help her keep her blood pressure up.

  1. We have been praying for you all at Genesis here in Washington. There is so much love out there and it’s coming your way.

  2. Keep focusing on how Taylor is progressing. She is improving so keep thinking about the positive steps, even the small ones. They will keep on building on each other and Taylor will get better. Love you lots.

  3. I hope you can feel the love we are all sending you from Birmingham, Taylor. And the mantra, taylorisperfect, stays with us all day, while we are stopped at traffic lights, washing our hands, or looking at stars. Thank you for including us in the loving circle that surrounds you, no matter how far away we are.

  4. Kit, it seems very positive that Taylor needs less sedation. You are kind to give your friends update during what is an unimaginably stressful time for you. I just said a prayer that today, Saturday, March 1, is a good day for Taylor.

  5. Kit,
Melody and Amanda told me yesterday about Taylor. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys. If you need anything please let me know.

  6. This is encouraging progress! Lots of good thoughts and positive energy are being sent your way, Taylor!
